Lakebound Lake Maps

Slow Down. You're Home.

Lakebound lake maps have a vintage feel, with warm, retro color combinations and a typeface reminiscent of what you'd see in the 1950s. Our lake map art is a comforting callback to a simpler time. Which, to us, is what being at the lake is all about: Slowing down. Being home.

Our story

Welcome to Lakebound where we've been making lake maps since 2007. Browse around.  We think you'll like what you find.

Our first map was of Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and we made it for ourselves.  It was a hit, so we made more. If you're reading this you're probably a lake person too, and you've got powerful memories of being at the lake: summers learning to water ski, sleep-away camp, cliff jumping, being at the cabin, the smell of the shady coves and bays, the lazy days melting into warm evenings, and fall after the crowds leave. For us, there's something about the lake that's like nowhere else.  We slow down, We generally let go. And when we leave, we take a little of that feeling with us.

Maps can take us to far away places, but they can also ground us to what is close to home.  Our goal at Lakebound is to bring a little of that lake magic to you, wherever you may be.  We spend a lot of time making sure the geography is accurate because we know you'll want to see your favorite parts of the lake.  So far, even the old-timers say we're getting it right!
